With 54 years in the car dealership business still fresh in my rear view mirror, I approach a new chapter in my life reflecting on the incredible career I’ve had. From the warm smiles and open arms to the friendly cheers of “Regardless” around town, I’ve been blessed by a community like no other.
Big O is far from done. While my father’s work ethic and unwavering dedication to his customers greatly inspired me, it really was his spirit of giving that impacted me most. I often say that when I’m gone, I don’t want to be remembered as a good businessman. I want to be remembered as a good person. And I believe the Good Lord is still guiding me to that goal.
With the formation of The Butch Oustalet Foundation, I’m confident that my most important work lies ahead and will continue even after I’m gone. My goal is to honor my father’s legacy of service in an impactful and lasting way by continuing to help those in need and most importantly, to inspire others in our community to do the same. Together with the Lord's guidance, we can make a big difference for generations to come. I hope you'll join me in this next chapter. It's going to be a good time, guaranteed!

Our mission at The Butch Oustalet Foundation is simple yet profound: to help make life better on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It’s our belief that we are all blessed in some way, and by working together and leveraging our time, talents and resources, there is no limit on the difference we can make.
Whether we're working to help provide access to quality education for our under-served dyslexic students, award college scholarships to financially strained families, support recovery programs for those struggling with addiction, or champion initiatives that will help curb homelessness and hunger, our hope is that other local business leaders and organizations throughout the coast will be inspired to join in.
In the coming years, we will host events and gatherings to help raise awareness and funds for those in need, and to acknowledge and honor those leaders in our community that are stepping up in a big way to make a difference on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
